Advanced dosing systems for rubber production
Project description
In this research project, the Color Service company aims to develop an innovative dosing unit with several new elements compared to the internal and international state of the art. These are promptly identifiable in: new dosing systems (also for oiled powders), a new transport system aimed at reducing the material forming the bag (EVA).
Together, the proposed activity denotes a marked purpose in the theme of environmental sustainability: thanks to the support of the consultant Service Group R&D SRL, in fact, the aim is to evaluate the carbon footprint of the process. This is done through the collection and processing of primary data: consumption and waste if necessary and analysis using SimaPro software.
The research and development activities will therefore be aimed at research, collection of specifications, design and implementation and testing of the technologies developed. The project was supported by the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy through the granting of a direct contribution to the expenditure amounting to €1,001,471.50 and a subsidized loan amounting to €3,239,760.30.
